Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Public-private partnerships (PPPs) have become integral to successful event organization, combining the resources, expertise, and networks of both sectors. In Minna LGA, Niger State, PPPs have been utilized to host cultural festivals, trade fairs, and other community events. These collaborations enhance the quality and scale of events, fostering economic growth and community engagement. However, the effectiveness of PPPs in event organization is often influenced by factors such as transparency, mutual trust, and effective coordination. This study explores the role of PPPs in event organization in Minna LGA, identifying their contributions and challenges to improving event management practices.
